Calling all artists 0-18 years old! Our annual Youth Art Month commences in March and we want to display your art. Bring your work, any medium, to the library beginning through March and we’ll display it for you. Art will be on display through April. Make sure to include name and age on front and telephone number on back. Call Mandy @ the library for more information.

A Book Sale will be held by the Friends of the Pahrump Community Library on March 2 & 3, at the Pahrump Nugget. Friday, 9-5 & Saturday 9-3. All proceeds will benefit the library. For more information, call Donna at 1-800-327-5079.

The theme is “Bee-a-Reader!” Sessions will be held: ages 2-3 on Wednesdays, 10:15-10:45am (parent or guardian must accompany child); ages 4-5 on Wednesdays, 11:00-11:45am; and ages 6-12 on Wednesdays, 3:00-4:00pm. Shakespeare Roundtable meets to read, discuss, & enjoy Shakespeare every Tuesday, 4-5:30pm. All are invited to attend. For more info, email ezshakespeare@yahoo.com.

Remember that many new and gently-used books are always on sale at the library—paperbacks 10¢ & up, hardbacks 50¢ & up. Videos, puzzles, audiobooks, childrens’ books, and book bundles are all available. This month’s special: Chicken Soup for the Soul books. As always, proceeds from all sales benefit the library.
