Free computer instruction is available @ the library! COMPUTER CLASSES for beginning-level computer users are offered Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays. Sign-ups available at the library (no sign-ups by phone). Currently offering “Basic Computer,” “Beyond Basics,” “Advanced Basics,” “Genealogy” and “Library Database/Google Resources”—check in the library for dates & times.
This month the library will have a Foster Family Clothing Drive, to collect necessary items for local foster families. Please bring your new or gently-used items to the library during April. All items will be used by local agencies.
TUMBLEWEED TALES POETRY GROUP will meet here Saturday, April 5, at 10am, and every 1st Saturday! Join us at the library to share, listen, and enjoy poetry. Original poetry encouraged, or just read an old favorite! All ages welcome! And this month, the group offers a new class: Shakespeare Made Simple! Held Tuesdays, 5-7pm, beginning April 8, this will be a Readers’ Theatre presentation of Shakespeare’s plays, beginning with “The Taming of the Shrew.” Free, for all ages.
Raffle tickets for a great Mother’s Day Basket will be sold @ the library, beginning April 11.
Family Craft will be held Saturday, April 12. Bring the kids and enjoy some fun time together! 10-11am @ the library. This month we’ll make a free, fun Flower Sign! Join Miss Brenda for seasonal fun!
This month’s author for the Favorite Author Book Club is Carl Hiaasen. Read anything by this author then come to the library on Tuesday, April 15 @ 1:30 for a lively discussion! New members always welcome!
Join us for a free, fun Adult Workshop on Thursday, April 17! We’ll welcome representatives from the Master Gardeners to give a talk on Springtime Gardening. Great tips & hints, plus answers to your questions! Please sign up in the library by April 15 (no sign-ups by phone). Adults only; kids 14 & up welcome with an adult.
The Pahrump Anime Club will hold its regular meeting at the library Saturday, April 19, 12-4pm. Showings this month will be:

Also this month we are featuring “Anime Jeopardy.” There will also be an Inuyasha TCG Tournament so be sure to bring your cards! There will be prizes so be sure to enter. Absolutely no unaccompanied children under the age of 10.
This month’s Movie Day will be Saturday, April 26. Our feature this month is “The Waterhorse: Legend of the Deep,” rated PG. Free family fun!
