Starting July 28, we will again host the Scholastic Book Fair, featuring Clifford, the Big Red Dog! Come find your favorite books—something for everyone! Through August 8.
TUMBLEWEED TALES POETRY GROUP will meet here Saturday, August 2, at 10am, and every 1st Saturday! Join us at the library to share, listen, and enjoy poetry. Original poetry encouraged, or just read an old favorite! All ages welcome! And now the group offers 2 new classes! Shakespeare Made Simple! Held the 3rd Saturday of each month, 10am-12n. This casual workshop will explore plays, words, character, & history—just for fun! And Tuesdays, 4-6pm, enjoy Shakespeare Readers’ Theatre! Both are free and open to all ages.
Beginning Monday, August 4, the library will be accepting your new school supply items for out Annual School Supply Drive! All items collected will be distributed by Pahrump area schools. Help support our valley’s students. Through August 30.
Our Favorite Authors Bookclub will meet Tuesday, August 19, at 1:30pm. This month’s author is Carole Nelson Douglas. Read anything by Ms. Douglas then come enjoy a lively discussion! New members always welcome, so bring a friend!
