We’re so thankful for the library!
The library is again hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive! We will collect non-perishable foods for local food banks for the upcoming holidays. Foods accepted @ the library November 1-20.
Free computer instruction is available @ the library! COMPUTER CLASSES for beginning-level computer users are offered on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. Sign-ups available at the library (no sign-ups by phone).
TUMBLEWEED TALES POETRY GROUP will meet here Saturday, November 3, at 10am, and every 1st Saturday! Join us at the library to share, listen, and enjoy poetry. Original poetry encouraged, or just read an old favorite! All ages welcome!
The Friends of the Library will hold their Big Book Sale, November 9 and 10. Paperbacks 50¢ each, Hardbacks, $1.00 & up.
Family Craft will be held Saturday, November 10. Bring the kids and enjoy some fun time together! 10-11am @ the library. This month we’ll make a free, fun Turkey Magnet! Join Miss Brenda for Thanksgiving fun!
Join us for a fun, informative Adult Workshop! We are making “Pies & Turkeys” on Thursday, November 15, 1:30. Come join us for this fun and easy seasonal craft. All supplies provided and the class is free! This class is sure to be tasty! Adults only; kids 14 & up welcome with an adult.
The Pahrump Anime Club will hold its regular meeting at the library Saturday, November 17, 12-4pm. Showings this month will be:
12:00- Wolf’s Rain #15- 16 (English)
1:00- Yu Yu Hakusho # 1- 2 (English)
2:00- Kurau# 1-2 (Sub-Titled)
3:00- Suzuka# 1-2 (English).
This month will feature an Art Contest and there will also be an Inuyasha TCG Tournament so be sure to bring your cards! There will be prizes so be sure to enter.
Favorite Author Book Club will meet on November 20, 1:30pm. Our choice for this month is J.A. Jance. Read anything by this author then come and enjoy a lively discussion!
WINTER READING PROGRAM continues Tuesdays & Wednesdays thru December 18. This year’s theme is “Read with Clifford, the Big Red Dog!” No sign-up necessary. Classes are available for all ages.
This month’s Movie Day is cancelled due to the Holiday Weekend.
