Free computer instruction is available @ the library! COMPUTER CLASSES for beginning-level computer users are offered Wednesdays at 1pm. Sign-ups available at the library (no sign-ups by phone).
Tumbleweed Tales Society meets 1st Saturdays of each month, 10a.m.-noon. Next roundtable will be held August 1. Bring original work or a favorite author to share. Open to all ages! For more info, email tumbleweedtales@yahoo.com.
Shakespeare at Library! Read, discuss, enjoy Shakespeare every 3rd Saturday of the month, 9:30-11:30 a.m. The current reading is "Merchant of Venice." Next gathering: August 15. Also, enjoy Shakespeare Reader’s Theatre every Tuesday, 4-5:30 p.m. Our current reading is "The Merry Wives of Windsor." For more info, email ezshakespeare@yahoo.com.
Our Favorite Authors Bookclub will meet Tuesday, August 18, at 1:30pm. This month’s author is Tess Gerritsen. Read anything by Ms. Gerritsen then come enjoy a lively discussion! New members always welcome, so bring a friend!
The Pahrump Anime Club will hold its regular meeting at the library Saturday, July 18, 12-4pm. Showings this month will be: 12:00- Inuyasha # 40 - 42 (English); 1:00- Suzuka (sub-titled); 1:30- Jyu-Oh-Sei # 5 (sub-titled); 2:00- D.Gray-Man #3- 4(English); 3:00- Sasami Magical Girls Club # 1 (English); 3:30- Negma!? Series 2 # 3 (English). Be sure to bring your raffle tickets! Absolutely no unaccompanied children under the age of 10.
This month’s Movie Day will be Saturday, August 22. Our feature this month is “Yellowstone Cubs” (rated G). Free family fun!
We will be hosting a Book Signing for Tracie Austin-Peters, who will sign her book “Welcome to Haunted Las Vegas Nevada.” Saturday, August 29, 10am @ the library.
