Once again, it’s AMNESTY WEEK! All fines will be removed from overdue items returned during the week of October 8-13! The amnesty does not apply to fines already accrued on returned materials.
TUMBLEWEED TALES POETRY GROUP will meet here Saturday, Oct. 13, at 10am, and every 1st Saturday! Join us at the library to share, listen, and enjoy poetry. Original poetry encouraged, or just read an old favorite! All ages welcome!
FAMILY CRAFT will be held Saturday, October 13. Bring the kids and enjoy some fun time together! 10-11am @ the library. This month we’ll make a free, fun Hanging Leaf ornament! Join Miss Brenda for Autumn fun!
Seasonal fun: CAN-FOR-A-COSTUME! Just bring a can of food for our Thanksgiving Food drive, and you can pick from a wide variety of new Halloween costumes! Kids’ sizes only. One can = one costume, October 15-31.
FAVORITE AUTHOR BOOK CLUB will meet on Oct. 16, 1:30pm. Our choice this month is Louis L’Amour. Read anything by this author then come and enjoy a lively discussion!
The ADULT WORKSHOP resumes in October! We are making “Block Pun’kins” on Thursday, Oct. 18, 1:30. Come join us for this fun and easy seasonal craft. All supplies provided and the class is free! Adults only; kids 14 & up welcome with an adult.
The PAHRUMP ANIME CLUB will hold its regular meeting at the library Saturday, October 20, 12-4pm. Showings this month will be:

WINTER READING PROGRAM starts Tuesday, October 16. This year’s theme is “Read with Clifford, the Big Red Dog!” No sign-up necessary. Classes are available for all ages: Little Pups (age 2-3) Tuesdays, 9:15-9:45am (parent/guardian must accompany child); Red Pups (age 4-5) Tuesdays, 10-10:45am; Big Reds (5-12 & AM kindergarten) Tuesday, 3:30-4:30pm; Craft Class (5th grade & up) Wednesdays 3:15-4:15pm.
This month’s MOVIE DAY will be Saturday, October 27, 2-4pm. Bring the kids and enjoy a free family movie, Disney’s “The Jungle Book.”
